How it works

Three steps, starting with a conversation that costs you nothing.

  1. Start with a free 20-minute consultation

Call, email or send the form on the contact page. In twenty minutes we will get the shape of your situation: what happened, what you have received in writing, and what you have already tried.

There is no charge and no obligation. If the answer is one quick piece of advice, you will get it on the call. If the case needs deeper work, we will explain why and outline what a strategy session would look like.

Helpful to have on hand: your itemized bill, any explanation of benefits, and any denial letters. Not required — bring what you have.

  2. Choose a strategy session and support level

If work is needed, we schedule a reasonably priced strategy session. You submit your paperwork, we investigate, and we deliver a written action plan with clear expectations, timeline, and cost.

You then choose how involved you want to be: the DIY option (the plan is yours to follow), the Do-It-With-You option (we coach you through each step), or the Do-It-For-You option (we handle the whole process for you). No pressure either way.

  3. Receive updates until your case is resolved

From there, BMFHA does the work. We make the calls, file the appeals, chase the documents and negotiate the balances — and we tell you where things stand as they move, rather than leaving you to wonder.

When the case closes, you get a clear account of what changed and what, if anything, you still need to do.

What we need from you

Two things, mainly. The paperwork you have — bills, statements, denial letters, plan documents — and written authorization letting us speak to providers and insurers on your behalf. We will walk you through that form; it is short.

After that, the goal is that you hear from us and not from the billing department.

Rest assured that BMFHA provides clear and detail-oriented expectations, guidance and resolution.
