Mission and vision
Quality healthcare for everyone, so they can feel better — plain and simple.
Our vision
Blue Mountain Financial Healthcare Advocacy envisions quality healthcare for everyone, so they can feel better. That is the whole idea, and it is not complicated. What gets in the way is complicated.
People are billed for care they did not receive. Claims are denied for reasons nobody explains. Medication that a doctor prescribed is refused by a plan. Debt piles up from an emergency that was never anyone’s choice. Each of these is solvable, and almost none of them are solvable while you are also trying to recover.
Our mission
BMFHA accomplishes that vision by handling clients’ issues regarding medical billing and insurance, so they can live more freely. We take on the paperwork, the phone calls and the deadlines, and we stay with a case until there is a resolution.
We are independent. We work for you, not for a hospital, an insurer or a collections agency, and our recommendations are not shaped by anyone else’s interests.
Working with a Board Certified Patient Advocate
Board certification means the advocate has met a national standard for professional practice and ethics, and is accountable to it. In a field where anyone can call themselves a consultant, that credential is a floor you can rely on.
It also means you get someone who already knows how appeals are structured, which documents actually carry weight, and what a hospital’s financial assistance policy is required to contain.
Practically, working with BMFHA looks like this: you start with a free 20-minute consultation. If quick advice is enough, you get it on the call. If the case needs more, we schedule a reasonably priced strategy session, deliver a written action plan, and you choose whether to do it yourself, do it with our coaching, or have us handle it for you.

The three things we do deliberately
Productive communication
Clear, documented contact with providers and insurers — and clear explanations back to you, in language that does not require a glossary.
Effective timing
Appeals windows, filing limits and assistance deadlines decide more cases than arguments do. We track them and act inside them.
Strategic problem solving
We pick the approach with the best chance of working for your specific case, then adjust as the situation develops.
